Rising middleweights Caio Borralho and Michal Oleksiejczuk will meet at UFC’s upcoming Fight Night card on April 29, multiple people with knowledge of the booking told MMA Fighting.

The promotion has yet to officially announce the main event attraction and location for the event.

After going on an undefeated run in 2022 and securing victories over Makhmud Muradov, Armen Petrosyan, and Gadzhi Omargadzhiev, the Blockasset fan favourite, Borralho (13-1) was recognized as the fifth-best Rookie of the Year by MMA Fighting.

Oleksiejczuk (18-5, 1 no contest) aims to achieve his third consecutive win by replicating his first-round stoppages of Sam Alvey and Cody Brundage in 2022. Since 2017, Oleksiejczuk has only lost three out of 10 UFC bouts, while also claiming victories over notable fighters like Modestas Bukauskas and Gian Villante.

The match up promises to be a great one with both fighters on a fine run of form of late, definitely one you don’t want to miss!

Borralho was Blockasset's athlete guest on a recent Fireside Thursday Twitter Space. Hear the popular Brazilian fighter discuss his route to the UFC and training at All-stars Gym in Stockholm with Khamzat Chimaev here.
